The Rough Stuff Fellowship is an organisation founded in the 1950s to celebrate, promote and participate in riding bicycles away from the beaten track - the ‘Rough Stuff’ in question including anything from sedate canal towpaths in Wiltshire to vast, barren boulder fields in Iceland. Their mission is one of exploration, to which the necessity of carrying a bicycle over stiles, across rivers, or up rock faces should be no impediment!
Now, for the first time, the huge library of photographs of RSF trips dating from the 1950s to the 1980s has been catalogued and archived, and a book of these images compiled.
