There's a spidery delicacy about Maclean frames - the pencil staysand blades, the late-in the day bend in the forks, the fine but unfussy lugowrk. They havea refined but purposeful air. This early 1950s example is from their days on Upper Street, Islington, and could be a poster-boy for a classic lightweight. Original paint with some patina, but wearing it oh-so-well. Comes with Brampton headset and Bayliss Wiley bottom bracket.
