1983/1984 Ritchey / Mountain Bikes Montare/Ascent. I can't be certain about the original designation of this frame, but what is known is the following: Built in 1983 or 1984 in Japan at the Toyo factory, and likely sold in the US or Canada thereafter. By 1984 the production version of the Ascent (the first Ritchey not to be brazed by Tom) was being sold with a Unicrown fork.
